Automatic solid fuel feeders manufactured by Ewmar-Ness are made from materials with high resistance to wear at high temperatures. These products are durable, reliable, easy to operate, and service. We produce cast-iron auger feeders and steel retort feeders. Only our own manufactured gear motors are used to drive the feeders. The feeder transports the appropriate fuel (e.g., eco-coal, coal dust, pellets, and others) from the fuel container, through a pipe, to the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is an integral part of the burner and allows for highly efficient combustion.
The APPS-type steel screw feeders are a proven and well-regarded design by customers for many years, intended for the combustion of “eco-coal” (eco-pea coal) in the 5-25mm grain size. The fuel is fed directly from the fuel storage to the burner in the boiler, systematically and evenly, which contributes to economical operation and user convenience. The burner is equipped with a toothed crown and a ring made of heat-resistant cast iron, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance.
The APPMD cast iron screw feeders are a solution that allows the use of a wide range of fuels in loose and granular form, from 0 to 32mm. The main fuel is coal in the 0-32mm granulation (from fines to pea-sized). The feeder construction uses grey cast iron, which helps reduce the noise level during operation and shows a lower tendency to transmit vibrations to other components of the boiler.
