Rolling Bearing Technology and Operation Training – Extended Course

During the training, a broad range of topics related to rolling bearings used in industrial machinery is covered. The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about the different types of rolling bearings and their applications. We discuss bearing selection principles as well as the properties of individual bearing types. Our goal is for participants to gain comprehensive knowledge of proper rolling bearing handling — from correct installation, through optimal lubrication, to safe and efficient dismounting. As part of the extended training program, we also cover the basics of rolling bearing diagnostics as well as shaft and belt drive alignment.

The training sessions are divided into theoretical and practical parts. During the practical sessions, each participant independently performs bearing installation and dismounting using all available handling techniques. The training room is equipped with six individual workstations, allowing all participants to carry out exercises simultaneously.

Thanks to the knowledge gained during the training, employees will be able to perform bearing replacement and repair tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

A very important topic of the proposed training is the analysis of bearing failure causes. The knowledge shared during the course helps to reduce the number of failures and extend bearing service life. We propose effective corrective actions that increase the operational efficiency of industrial equipment. We also explain the impact of cooperating components — such as bearing housings, couplings, belt drives, and their correct alignment — on the reliability of bearing units.

The training is recommended for:

  • Maintenance department personnel
  • Mechanics, service technicians, and staff responsible for equipment maintenance
  • Personnel supervising overhaul work and routine maintenance
  • Rotating machinery designers
  • Rotating machinery reliability department staff

Three-day training course topics:
